Our Family On Purpose

Our Story is simple, we strive to take care of our clients’ families as we would our own.

Guided by collaborative principles and responsible stewardship, we share wisdom gleaned from decades of managing cases involving family financial and child custody issues, guardianship, abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency and criminal charges.

Our motto, “Support Not Court, For Families,” recognizes that court is often not the best answer for a family related legal concern, and when it is, bringing forth evidence to the court that supportive alternatives were explored and/or implemented can be key in prevailing.

The “Our Family on Purpose” story began with a departure from the traditional litigation model for a single client who understood that they needed “support, not court,” to move forward with the process of their divorce. Like so many others, they sought common sense solutions to the problems their family faced and neither the client nor their spouse wanted to spend time in court, nor pay an attorney to do so on their behalf. They understood that the solutions they sought were not ones that could be ordered by a judge. Having access to legal information and other supportive resources and referrals through consultation over the course of several months resulted in an economical and successful transition for the client and their family.
